The Challenge
Interfilm was brought on to film the Danish islands of Ærø and Birkholm for National Geographic Channel, capturing the unique character, landscapes, and traditions of these small island communities in the South Funen Archipelago.
The production required both intimate storytelling and sweeping aerial perspectives of the islands' coastlines, harbours, and countryside.
The Solution
Pre-Production: Detailed planning of filming locations, tide schedules, and access to private properties and local characters on the islands.
Production: Interfilm provided all cinematography and drone filming, capturing the islands from sea level to bird's-eye view across multiple days of shooting.
